After studying current designs, this boat was evolved using the MaxSurf CAD program to produce a user friendly boat that has very good speed potential in all wind strengths. On its first appearance in the 2002 Australian Nationals, this design placed second equal to Janusz Walicki with his Scalpel. (Third on count-back) Using Conventional Shroudless rigs this boat allows the experienced, as well as the novice skipper to explore the full potential of the design
